Center of Excellence

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center

Nikon Instruments USA has partnered with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, to open a Nikon Center of Excellence for advanced biological imaging. The center will combine Nikon’s technical proficiency with the scientific expertise of the researchers at Cincinnati Children’s Research Foundation to further new developments in biomedical sciences that will ultimately improve child health.

Area of Expertise

This partnership provides CCRF researchers access to state-of-the-art imaging equipment and Nikon technical expertise. In return, Nikon gains valuable feedback and insight from talented scientists using advanced research techniques in the diverse areas of research strength found at the CCRF. Our expertise includes phenotypic imaging and analysis of complex biological systems including developmental biology, neurobiology, stem cell biology and cancer biology. We also have a keen focus on developing and adapting new imaging techniques that can be applied to our researcher's areas of expertise.
