A selection of high numerical aperture (NA) objectives are available, which provide chromatic aberration correction for UV to near-infrared.

CFI SR HP Plan Apochromat Lambda S 100XC Sil

By using silicone oil that has a refractive index closely matching that of live cells as its immersion liquid, this lens allows high resolution imaging of thick samples and is suitable for long-term time-lapse imaging.

This lens has a long working-distance providing ultra-deep imaging with maximum clarity and contrast. The support of multiple refractive indices allows observation with various optical clearing liquids as well as water, oil, and glycerin.

Nano Crystal Coat for superior transmission

Nikon’s exclusive Nano Crystal Coat is an anti-reflective coating consisting of ultra-fine crystalline particles. This forms a coarse structure that lowers the reflectance index, facilitating the passage of light through the lens rather than reflecting it, and thus providing superior light transmission.
