Moffitt Cancer Center

Nikon's first cancer center strategic partner has now become a Center of Excellence. Moffitt Cancer Center has joined the distinguished group of institutions utilizing high-end microscopy to accelerate their scientific discovery. This Center brings together talented scientists and Nikon’s cutting-edge instrumentation with the purpose of visualizing cellular and molecular processes with unprecedented precision, paving the way for new insights into cancer biology and novel treatment approaches. This Center is equipped with a variety of Nikon equipment, capable of imaging techniques including traditional point-scanning, super-resolution, two-photon, spinning disk, and TIRF microscopy.

AX R MP Multiphoton

The AX R MP is Nikon’s newest large format multiphoton microscope, ideal for deep imaging. The highly improved 2K resonant scanner allows users to acquire high resolution images of fast in vivo events. It is combined with visible wavelengths and tunable emission detectors for maximum capabilities.

AX R with NSPARC Confocal

The AX R is a recently developed iteration of Nikon’s flagship confocal system, and is capable of 2k resonant scanning in an expanded 25 mm FOV for fast, gentle imaging of sensitive samples. In addition, this system features Nikon’s new NSPARC Image Scanning detector, capable of deep, super-resolution imaging using a highly sensitive APD detector array.

AX R Confocal

The AX R is Nikon’s latest generation laser scanning confocal system with a 25 mm field of view, capable of 2K resonant scanning capabilities. The highly sensitive hybrid detectors allow for fast and gentle imaging of sensitive samples while significantly improving the time of data acquisition of fixed specimens.
