The American Society of Cytopathology (ASC) is a professional organization dedicated to the field of cytopathology, a branch of pathology focused on the diagnosis of diseases at the cellular level. Founded in 1951, the ASC serves as a leading authority in the study, practice, and advancement of cytopathology.
