Nikon Instruments Inc. is pleased to announce that it has begun direct sales and technical support for Nikon’s BioScience Microscopes, Confocal Systems and Digital Imaging products in New Jersey and Puerto Rico. This area was previously served by Micron Optics.

We look forward to continuing to provide the same quality of service directly from Nikon.

”Nikon Instruments began distribution on November 1, 2010, following the closing of Micron’s Nikon BioScience Instruments business. The former Micron Optics BioScience territory now directly serviced by Nikon consists of New Jersey and Puerto Rico. Additionally, Nikon Instruments will retain Micron’s New Jersey BioScience sales representatives to support customers’ biomedical and imaging requirements. Nikon Instruments will provide a base of operations for the new direct sales team, regional sales administration staff and customer service personnel through Nikon’s US headquarters operation located at 1300 Walt Whitman Road, Melville, NY.
