Diopter adjustments(2)
Switch the objective lens.
Adjust the focus with using your dominant eye, or either your left or right eye.
Switch the objective lens to 40X.
Rotate the coarse focus knob until there is a space of approximately 0.5 mm between the objective lens and the specimen’s coverglass.
Lower the stage slowly to adjust the focus.
