After use

  • Turn off the lighting ON / OFF switch. (The LED status display will turn orange.)
  • Remove the specimen slide from the stage.
  • Loosen the fixing screw by turning it two or three times, rotate 180°the binocular eyepiece tube, and tighten the fixing screw to fix the binocular eyepiece tube.
  • Clean the eyepieces. For how to clean the eyepieces, please refer to “(Storage) Cleaning the eyepieces” on the next page.
  • Please do the following when storing the microscope at its fixed location.
    • 1) Unplug the power cord from the outlet. (The LED status display with turn off)
    • 2) Cover the microscope with the vinyl dust cover to prevent dust from getting on the microscope.
  • Refer to “(Storage) Storing the microscope” when storing the microscope in a cabinet.
